Age Restrictions

In the United States, alcohol is a regulated good. This means that sending and receiving wine is different than sending/receiving non-regulated goods. All persons must be 21 years of age or older to place an order and receive an order through Qorcho. Qorcho uses three different shipping methods. These three methods are FedEx, UPS, and Qorcho Delivery. All three methods will require an ID check and/or signature from the recipient of wine ordered from Qorcho to ensure that the recipient is 21 years of age or older. Therefore, a person over the age of 21 must be present at your delivery location when the delivery arrives to provide identification that proves the person is 21 years of age or older, receive the wine, and sign for the receipt of the wine. 

Acceptable documentation to prove age are state issued ID (Driver’s License, or ID Card), or federal ID (passport or passport card). All documents must not be expired, nor tampered with. It’s not likely, but it is possible that the delivery driver may ask you for another form of ID. This could be anything else with your name on it. For instance, if you present your delivery driver with a driver’s license, and he/she asks you for a second form of ID, you could provide them with a credit card that has your name engraved into it, or you could give them a social security card, even a university/college ID would satisfy the requirement for a second form of ID. Most things with your name permanently on them can work as a second form of ID.

In the even that a 21+ age cannot be verified, the delivery will not be completed, and the delivery driver will not be able to leave the shipment with you. This will then be treated as a missed delivery.

Missed Deliveries 

Missed Deliveries occur either when 21+ age cannot be verified, or if no one was home at the time of the delivery. We do our best to attempt to minimize the number of missed deliveries. During checkout, customers will be able to choose which delivery service they prefer. If customers select UPS or FedEx, they will be provided with a tracking number when their order has shipped to let customers know when to expect their orders. Customers will be able to contact FedEx, or UPS directly if they need to reschedule their delivery time or change their delivery method to pick-up at a FedEx or UPS location near them. If customers select Qorcho Delivery when checking out, then Qorcho will reach out to those customers to let the customer choose which delivery date works best for them.

State Laws and Regulations

Each individual states have different laws and regulations when it comes to shipping alcohol. It is of upmost importance to Qorcho to comply with every law and regulation when shipping to various states. Due to this, Qorcho can only ship to certain states.

Currently, Qorcho can only accept order from the following states: Alaska, Florida, Kentucky, Minnesota, and Washington, D.C.

Due to laws and regulations, there are some states that Qorcho cannot ship to. These states are Arkansas, Delaware, Mississippi, and Utah.

Order Cancellation Policy

Customers are free to cancel their order and receive a 100% refund so long as their order has not yet shipped. Customers will receive email notification from Qorcho when their order has shipped. When checking out, customers will be prompted to enter an email address. It is of utmost importance that customers enter an email address that they have access to so that can receive updates regarding their order.

Customers are encouraged to create an account before placing an order to have better access to their current and past orders.

Qorcho accepts returns within three business days of delivery. As you cannot ship opened bottles of wine, all returns must be unopened. Returning bottles must be in the same condition in which they were delivered. Wine can only be shipped via approved wine boxes. Qorcho recommends that customers keep the box their order was delivered in so that they have an approved wine box on hand. Otherwise, customers will be responsible for obtaining their own approved wine shipping box. For more information on approved wine shipping boxes, visit UPS' Website or FedEx's Website.

If your return circumstances fall within the scope of the above return policy, please email to initiate your return. A return request via email must be delivered before the fourth business day after delivery of your order. Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping the return to the Qorcho warehouse. Once a return request is received, Qorcho will calculate the shipping cost and bill the customer via email. Once the return shipping cost is paid, Qorcho will send the customer the return label needed to return their order via email. The customer must then package their return in an approved wine shipping box (see above), attach the label, and drop of the package to either UPS or FedEx. Either UPS or FedEx will be specified to the customer when the return shipping invoice is sent.

Once Qorcho receives your return, it will be inspected. If bottles are in the proper return condition as outlined above, a refund will be issued for the original purchase amount of the bottles. Shipping cost will not be included in the refund.

Issues With Your Order
